Bat Removal & Exclusion

Safe. Legal. Permanent.

At Eviction Wildlife Pros, we specialize in bat removal done the right way. Bats play a vital role in the environment—but once they’ve set up shop in your attic, they become a major health hazard and liability.

We remove bats legally, humanely, and permanently by following a step-by-step process that complies with all local and federal regulations. And unlike many companies, we don’t stop at removal—we seal every opening so they never get back in

The Problem With Bats in Your Home

Bats don’t chew or scratch like rodents, but they’re just as serious of a threat to your home:

  • They squeeze through gaps as small as ⅜ of an inch

  • Their droppings (guano) build up quickly and can release airborne spores like histoplasmosis

  • Their urine causes strong ammonia-like odors

  • Colonies often grow unnoticed—one bat usually means many

  • Protected by federal law—it’s illegal to trap, kill, or disturb bats improperly

If you hear fluttering in the attic at dusk or spot droppings near vents or siding, it’s time to call us.

Our Bat Removal Process

Bat removal is not a “spray and pray” job. It takes timing, precision, and real craftsmanship. Here’s how we do it:

1. Full Property Inspection

We inspect your home or building from top to bottom—focusing on:

  • Attic spaces and soffit junctions

  • Gaps at eaves, returns, roofline transitions, and dormers

  • Cracks or voids behind siding, fascia, and trim boards

  • Gable vents, ridge vents, and chimney areas

We identify all primary and secondary entry points, even the small ones that haven’t been used yet—but could be in the future.

2. Timed Exclusion (No Trapping or Killing)

We use one-way bat valves to allow bats to exit—but not return. These devices:

  • Are installed only at active entry points

  • Let bats leave to feed as usual

  • Block re-entry once installed

  • Remain in place for 7–10 days to ensure full evacuation

Bats are removed without harm—just as the law requires.

3. Complete Bat-Proofing

After the colony is gone, we seal the structure completely, including:

  • Gaps under rooflines and flashing

  • Open returns and builder’s gaps

  • Cracks along fascia, trim, and under siding

  • Improperly screened attic vents and louvered exhausts

  • Ridge vents and gable vents

All sealed using long-lasting, weatherproof materials like:

  • Galvanized steel screen

  • Silicone-based wildlife-grade sealants

  • Custom-fabricated vent covers and flashing

We don’t use foam, caulk-only seals, or cheap shortcuts. Bats can squeeze past most materials—unless it's done right.

4. Follow-Up and Warranty

After sealing:

  • We conduct a final inspection to ensure all exclusion work is solid

  • Remove exclusion devices only after verifying zero activity

  • Offer written warranties (1–2 years) on all exclusion work performed

You’ll know exactly what was done, why it was done, and what to expect going forward.

What We Don’t Do

  • We don’t trap bats (illegal)

  • We don’t kill or harm them (protected species)

  • We don’t skip sealing just to sell you a service plan

  • We don’t use foam-only or half-baked patch jobs that fail within a season

We solve the problem once, the way it’s supposed to be done.
